Mark Cavendish has confirmed he will race the 2019 Tour de Yorkshire in another significant boost for the race organisers.
The Dimension Data sprinter, whose mother lives in Harrogate, will return to Yorkshire having ridden the race for the first time last year.
Cavendish said: “I’m really excited to heading back to the Tour de Yorkshire along with my Dimension Data for Qhubeka team-mates to race in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
