U.S. Open 2019: Gary Woodland holds serve as Justin Rose sits one shot back

Gary Woodland wasn’t fantastic Saturday, but he did enough to maintain the lead going into the final round Sunday.

The Kansas native shot 2-under 69 to move to 11 under for the tournament.

He leads world No. 4 Justin Rose by one stroke after three rounds.

While the course was gettable on Saturday, there weren’t a lot of big numbers out there and Woodland did enough to maintain his lead, making three birdies to go with just one bogey to finish out a steady round.
