Cardinals fans boo Dexter Fowler for bad situational hitting in NLCS Game 2

Cardinals fans know their baseball and they were not thrilled with a decision Dexter Fowler made in the bottom of the eighth in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series.

Right after Jose Martinez plated a run on a funky double to center field on a misread by Michael A. Taylor, Fowler came up to the plate and swung at the first pitch with two outs against Sean Doolittle.

He flew out to right field and the fans were not happy as they started booing Fowler the second the ball came off the bat.

The reason being is likely two-fold: for one, Fowler has been awful in the postseason as he is now 2 for 29, but secondly, this was just bad situational baseball.
