Jimmy Butler dubbed ‘the GOAT’ after joining LeBron James in Heat record books

Miami Heat fans have jokingly dubbed Jimmy Butler ‘the GOAT’ after he joined LeBron James in the franchise’s history books.

Butler became the first Heat player with a 30-point half since James in 2014 as Miami continued their impressive start to the NBA season with a 124-108 win over the Phoenix Suns.

The 30-year-old is just the third player in Heat history to score 30 points in a half – with Dwayne Wade becoming the only other man to achieve the feat.
