The 76ers' three biggest stars were called for technical fouls Saturday night during a dominant performance against the Raptors, the top team in the Eastern Conference.
After Jimmy Butler and Joel Embiid picked up technicals in the first half, guard Ben Simmons annoyed officials with his reaction to a phantom foul in the third.
Toronto's Kyle Lowry felt Simmons reaching for the ball while guarding, and quickly launched a three in an attempt to draw a shooting foul. Simmons quickly pulled his hand away and didn't make contact with Lowry, but was still whistled for the foul. Simmons couldn't believe it, and he walked away from the official to take a vacant courtside seat. While Simmons was holding his head in his hands in disbelief, the official called a technical.
