By 2023, Carlton expect to have 100,000 members and attract an average of 50,000 spectators to their home games.
Believe it or not, in that time they also aim to win premierships in the AFL and AFLW under their new grand plan released on Thursday called The Carlton Way.
The Blues won their most recent flag in 1995 and this year marks the longest premiership drought in the club's history.
The document also declared the club had set their sights on eliminating debt, earning $75 million revenue and completing their masterplan for Ikon Park.
And, it also wants to win premierships.
Carlton CEO Cain Liddle, who was at Richmond as they worked towards the ambitious five-year target set in 2010 to play in three finals, have zero debt and sign 75,000 members, developed the plan with the board's support.
He joined the Blues in 2018 after being at the Tigers when they won the 2017 flag.
Liddle told members the plan could be summed up in a couple of sentences: "We believe that a united football club, relentless in the pursuit of excellence, who hold ourselves and each other accountable, can achieve anything. This is the Carlton way."
The Blues set a new record membership figure this week when they exceeded their previous record of 56,005 members and earned $61 million revenue in 2018.
Carlton's average crowd for home games was 31,775 in 2018 as they won just two games for the season however they averaged more than 50,000 per home game as recently as 2011.
The Blues have already received a $35 million funding commitment from Federal and State Governments to make Ikon Park a hub for AFLW and they are preparing a fundraising program to improve the facilities at the ground for the AFL team.
