The Big Bash League has announced the fixture list for the 11th season of the competition, with a mouth-watering double-header on Boxing Day as a major standout.
After the famous Boxing Day Test at the MCG, cricket fans will have two Big Bash games to enjoy.
The Sydney Showground will play host to a Sydney derby between the Thunder and Sixers, who are the reigning champions, while a clash between the Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Renegades will also take place on Boxing Day.

The Sixers are on the hunt for an unprecedented third-straight title, a feat that would give the franchise four titles overall and place them as the most successful side in Big Bash League history.
Sixers coach Greg Shipperd is hopeful the fixtures can go some way to bringing a bit of joy to Sydneysiders in lockdown.

“This announcement is just the start of our journey for the season and our quest to win a third-straight BBL title,” Shipperd said.
“I hope it can help boost the spirits of our fans, especially in Sydney, in what is a pretty tough time.
“The players are back training and are already looking forward to getting back to our home at the SCG and playing a few games in Coffs Harbour. I hope our fans stay safe and are looking forward to joining us during the season.”

The finals series kicks off on January 21 with ‘The Eliminator’ and also features ‘The Challenger’ on Australia Day.
The Big Bash season will conclude with the grand final to be played on January 28.
