Twenty-year old Big Bash marauder Ollie Davies has put together an insane hitting performance, plundering five sixes in a row against Melbourne Renegades.
The Sydney Thunder young gun, already being touted as a future Aussie T20 player, backed up his 36 from 22 balls on debut earlier in the week with a Boxing Day hitting performance to remember.
It wasn’t against one of the Renegades’ park cricketers, either, rather gun all rounder Mohammad Nabi.
He clubbed four in a row from the slow bowling of the Afghan, before sending a short one from Will Sutherland sailing over the rope.
Sutherland would have his revenge, clean-bowling Davies next ball, but not before he’d reached 48 from 22 deliveries.
Davies hitting was all over the park, particularly targeting cow corner, but an inside out over cover was particularly delightful.
