David Beckham surprised fans at the Wankhede Stadium as he greeted India’s players ahead of their Cricket World Cup semi-final against New Zealand.
With the 2023 MLS season coming to a close last month, the Inter Miami co-owner has been spotted at sporting venues across the globe, joining Thierry Henry at the San Siro for PSG’s trip to Milan in the Champions League as well as visiting Surrey to see his son Romeo turn out for Brentford B against Leicester City’s U21 last Friday.
But the former England skipper completed a special hat-trick on Wednesday as he joined legend Sachin Tendulkar and India’s ODI World Cup hopefuls in Mumbai.
The 48-year-old showed off his talents – despite his age – by sharing a few passes with former India skipper Virat Kohli, ahead of what could be a record-breaking day for the batsman.

Wednesday’s match-up sees India and New Zealand replay their 2019 semi-final, with the Black Caps looking to reach their third consecutive ODI World Cup final.
While the tournament hosts are bidding to avenge their 18 run loss at Old Trafford.
