A boxing star claims he could knock Francis Ngannou out and is willing to face the MMA fighter-turned-boxer this year.
The heavyweight contender, who holds a professional record of 34-13, is eyeing up a December showdown with the 37-year-old.
Ngannou shocked the world back in October after going toe-to-toe with heavyweight king Tyson Fury.
Ngannou went the distance with Fury in their crossover boxing encounter. For many, the former UFC heavyweight champion even did enough to prevail on the scorecards in Saudi Arabia after flooring boxing’s WBC king with a vicious left hook in round three.
Now, many fighters are looking to step in the ring with the former UFC champion, including veteran Derek Chisora.

Derek Chisora is confident that he can beat Ngannou and is eyeing up a showdown in December
‘Del Boy’ defeated Gerald Washington via unanimous decision in his last fight back in August, and at 39, the heavyweight star is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
After Ngannou’s fight with Fury, ‘The Gypsy King’ was expected to fight Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed heavyweight showdown on December 23. However, it looks likely that the fight will be pushed back until February – allowing the Englishman more time to recover. Therefore, the date in Saudi Arabia is now available.
It was reported that Ngannou could fight on that date against either Zhilei Zhang or Joseph Parker, while Chisora has also put his name forward.
Speaking to IFL TV, the heavyweight veteran said: ‘I want everybody, I want Francis Ngannou yeah, I wanna get it.’
When asked whether or not he would be ready for December, Chisora replied: ‘I’m ready to fight every day bro.’
While Ngannou proved many people wrong against Fury, Chisora claims he will knock the 37-year-old out.
‘It’ll be a great fight and I’ll knock him out,’ he said.
‘He’s amazing, he’s a great fighter, he’s a strong guy, he’s a great MMA fighter, he caught Tyson on a bad day and it happens.’

Despite many interested in fighting Ngannou, ‘The Predator’ is looking for a rematch with Fury
Despite Chisora eyeing up a rematch with Ngannou, ‘The Predator’ has his sights firmly set on a rematch with Fury, and is hopeful that Usyk could step aside from an undisputed clash with the ‘Gypsy King’ to allow the fight to happen.
‘The rematch is what I want next the most,’ he said.
‘As for right now I feel like there is a lot of options for me, but I want to choose wisely, and I would go for the rematch first.
‘My best scenario in boxing is to wait for Fury. If Usyk can step out and let me fight Fury, I’ll fight Fury, then I’ll let them do whatever they do. I’ll go back, maybe do some MMA fight and come back with some people in boxing.
‘I’m planning to fight potentially twice next year, [starting] maybe February or March.’
