Anthony Joshua takes on KSI in boxing challenge and almost comes unstuck

Anthony Joshua and KSI locked horns in a hilarious speedball challenge – but there was only one winner.

AJ is preparing for his eagerly anticipated rematch against Andy Ruiz on December 7.

But the British heavyweight took some time out to enjoy a bit of light-hearted banter with KSI.

In a challenge set up by bookies William Hill, Joshua is tasked with hitting a speedball as many times as possible in one minute.

The Watford lad completes the task with aplomb and looks every inch the professional fighter.

KSI, however, is more reluctant to step up and adopts an unorthodox approach.

The YouTube superstar decides to gently tap the speedball as AJ and presenter David Alorka laugh and watch on.

“Strange technique, you know what I mean,” quips Alorka.

“But I like what you’ve done there. You’ve bended the rules slightly!”

Despite his efforts, KSI still couldn’t beat AJ who managed 69 hits to his 52.

KSI’s rematch with Logan Paul takes place on November 9 in Los Angeles.

Chris Eubank Jr exclusively told Starsport last month that the amateur clash is great for the sport.

“Listen, some people are a bit upset or salty that two guys who aren't professionals – or even really amateurs – are going to make all this money through boxing,” he said.

“Me, personally, I think anyone that brings a new audience or subscription base, a new fan base, is a great thing.

“It was the same thing with Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

"People were upset that McGregor was making all this money.

“But the limelight that's put on the sport through these types of events is huge.

“I don't think there's anything wrong with it. But whatever these guys do, they're going to get a lot of people interested.”
