Boxing: Fury tells BBC to remove him from SPOTY shortlist
Boxing fans are in for a mouthwatering night of action this Saturday with Errol Spence Jr, Danny Garcia, Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur all in action. Spence makes his highly-anticipated return to the ring for the first time since he nearly lost his life in a nasty car accident.
His Ferrari flipped multiple times during the crash and doctors feared he would never box again.
Now The Truth prepares to defend his WBC and IBF welterweight world titles, as he eyes a unification clash with Terence Crawford.
Garcia was a unified light-welterweight world champion before making the step up to welterweight and previously held the WBC crown before losing to Shawn Porter in 2018. Now he bids to win back his old belt.
Before that though, there is an unmissable all-British light-heavyweight clash in London, courtesy of Frank Warren.
Anthony Yarde continues his comeback trail when he returns to action against Commonwealth champion Lydon Arthur.
He is eyeing another world title shot after being stopped by Sergey Kovalev in Russia in August 2019.
This will be his third outing of 2020 and both fighters have previously beaten Dec Spelman in their last outing.
