  • Drake has backed WWE star Logan Paul to win by knockout against Dillon Danis
  • Canadian rapper could win more than £1million from Saturday’s grudge match
  • Danis noted the ‘disrespect’ amid his recent antics at the final press conference

Superstar rapper Drake has backed Logan Paul to prevail in his grudge match against Dillon Danis on Saturday night.

The MMA fighter and Youtuber-turned-boxer co-headline the highly anticipated night of boxing in Manchester alongside KSI’s and Tommy Fury.

Drake, who is no stranger to a sports bet, reckons Paul is good value to knockout his opponent who has executed a staggering campaign of personal attacks in the lead up to the fight.

The ‘One Dance’ star could earn around £1.1million ($1.3million) from his £696,000 ($850,000) if Danis suffers a spectacular defeat by his countryman.

The 30-year-old, who caused further controversy on Thursday when he struck Paul in the face by a microphone at the final press conference, was not too pleased with Drake’s choice of victor.

Canadian rapper Drake has decided to put some of his money behind the WWE star Logan Paul

Dillon Danis called out the ‘disrespect’ of the rapper and posted this image of the pair

Danis and Paul were on opposite sides of the stage during the press conference, but came to blows as they went to leave

‘850 on my head is disrespect,’ he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. He accompanied his post with an image of himself and the former Degrassi actor.

Danis’ physical outburst towards Paul sparked fears the WWE star may be forced to withdraw from the bout. The pair engaged in a verbal row before Danis connected cleanly on Paul’s forehead with the microphone.

Paul was taken off stage immediately, holding his head in his hands, and Danis took to social media shortly after the incident to share a photo of blood on the floor.

However, Paul’s business partner KSI confirmed to Mail Sport that Paul was ‘fine’ and able to fight on the weekend.
