Logan Paul responds to rapper’s strange callout 3 weeks from Mayweather fight

Logan Paul took to social media to clap back at rapper 'The Game' after being called out less than three weeks out from his mega-money fight with Floyd Mayweather.

YouTube star Paul is currently in Puerto Rico training for an exhibition bout with 50-0 boxing legend Mayweather, but he found himself responding to a bizarre callout from the music artist for a bare knuckle fight in Los Angeles.

Seemingly out of the blue on Sunday, Grammy-nominated rapper The Game – whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor – took to Twitter to offer an unsanctioned fight to Paul, and his brother Jake who is 3-0 as a pro boxer.

He said: "Yerrr [sic], Jake Paul and Logan Paul. Meet me & my little brother downtown LA in front of Staples Center and let’s just fight head up fades.

"No gloves, no money needed – just on some me & my brother will f*** you & your brother up s***."

No strangers to making headlines, both Paul brothers were quick to respond in front of their collective 10 million followers, with Logan saying "You gonna need your whole family".

Jake had already responded, mocking the musician's previous lyrics and saying 'Love it or hate it, you would get knocked the f*** out," making reference to his 2006 hit single.

The Paul brothers won't be fighting anybody for free though – Jake Paul is reported to have earned millions from his recent fight with Ben Askren, which is said to have made in the region of £53million ($75m).

And Logan is also expected to rake in a hefty payday in the millions for his exhibition bout with Mayweather, which takes place on June 6 in the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami.

The event will be available on Sky Sports Box Office for £16.95, and has courted controversy for the blatant mismatch in terms of experience, size and other important factors.

Paul is a 6"2' cruiserweight with a 0-1 professional record, while 5"8' welterweight Mayweather is widely considered the best of his era with a 50-0 record.

The pair went face to face for the first time earlier this month at a media event, which descended into chaos when Jake Paul instigated an altercation with the boxing legend.

Logan Paul has since claimed that the brothers have increased their security significantly after a 'death threat' from Mayweather in the heat of the skirmish which saw the younger Paul banned from the event.
