Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua’s fight purses for upcoming August 14 bout

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury's mouthwatering bout has finally been confirmed for August 14, and it's been revealed that both will earn a pretty penny in the process.

The pair will split the fight purse 50/50 – which is a massive £106million – that was provided by the Saudi Arabian hosts.

As well as pocketing a handy £53million each, the pair will also earn bonuses based on pay-per-view sales, which are expected to massive considering the size of the bout.

Fury and Joshua have also signed a two-fight deal, and the purse for the rematch will be split 60/40 in favour of the first bout's winner.

Joshua enters the fight with a 24-1 record (with 22 KOs), with WBA, IBF and WBO belts around his waist; the one loss, against Andy Ruiz Jr, was avenged in 2019.

Fury, on the other hand, still remains unblemished with a record of 30-0-1 (with 21 KOs) and 'The Gypsy King' holds the WBC and Ring Magazine titles.

When the pair meet – at the end of the summer – it will be the first time Fury has entered a ring since his dominating performance against Deontay Wilder.

Whereas Joshua convincingly put away Kubrat Pulev at the SSE Arena in London last December.

The fight will be broadcast on both BT Sport Box Office and Sky Sports Box Office, and the bout is expected to cost £25.

Bookies have currently positioned Fury as the slight favourite, however, Joshua isn't too far behind.
