Players Championship 2021 tee times, TV coverage, live stream & more to watch Friday’s Round 2

One year after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the tournament, the Players Championship is back.

A star-studded field will compete at the TPC Sawgrass course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., starting with Round 1 on Thursday. While the Players Championship isn’t one of the four majors, it is considered the first big tournament of 2021 and should provide plenty of excitement all weekend long for golf fans.

Who is in the 2021 Players Championship field?

The 2021 Players Championship field features defending champion Rory McIlroy, who beat runner-up Jim Furyk by one stroke in 2019. McIlroy will be battling the likes of Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa, Jordan Spieth and more at TPC Sawgrass.

Notably, Tiger Woods will not be part of the field as he recovers from injuries that he sustained in a single-car crash last month. Brooks Koepka will also miss the tournament with a knee injury.
