Jena Sims has lead a WAGs day out in Rome ahead of the start of the Ryder Cup this weekend.

The latest edition of the tournament will take place at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club this weekend in Rome, with Europe looking to regain the trophy after a record 19-9 defeat in 2021.

The likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Ludvig Aberg will take to the course to challenge their American rivals, with the hosts narrow favourites to win the title against the Americans.

The players have been practicing in Italy ahead of the competition, and have been joined by their families as they continue to prepare.

A group of WAGS from Team USA spent the day out in the Italian capital on Tuesday, with Brooks Koepka’s partner Sims leading the day out and sharing snaps on her Instagram account.

Patrick Cantlay’s partner Nikki Guidice, Colin Morikawa’s wife Katherine, Justin Thomas’ wife Jillian Wisniewski, Rickie Fowler’s wife Allison Stokke, Zach Johnson’s wife Kim and Max Homa’s wife Lacey Homa were also in attendance as they posed for photos in the Italian sun.

Sims captioned her Instagram post: ‘Placing myself here so he’s always thinking of me.’

The first photo in the post shared by Sims showed the 34-year-old, who married Koepka last year, enjoying the sun in an orange flowery dress.

She went onto post photos of various buildings in the city as well as videos of her friends and fellow WAGs enjoying the streets of Rome.

Another photo showed a few of the women wearing helmets in the back of a carriage as they were chauffeured around the towns.

In the evening, the players and their partners got together for a pre-tournament dinner, with snaps shared of the team suited and booted as they posed with their other halves.

Jena shared a selfie before the meal wearing a black and white dress with the caption: ‘If this was the bachelor this would be our cocktail party event.’

A rooftop in Rome was the location for the meal, with pictures showing the tables laid in the sun ready for the attendees, which included the Homas and the Morikawa.

After the meal, everyone present enjoyed an exclusive performance from singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips, who Sims thanked for his show on Instagram.

On Thursday, Sims showed off another stunning dress on her Instagram story before the golfers walked down the Spanish steps for photos two days out from the start of the Ryder Cup.

The men and women were all glammed up as they waved at crowds walking down the steps, which, according to Sims, were shut specifically for the photos.

Though the men wore black suits with grey ties, the ladies ensured all kinds of colours were on show, with red, blue and silver dresses all worn for the photos.

Scottie Scheffler’s wife, Meredith Scudder, wore a bright blue dress and was all smiles as she walked down hand in hand with her husband, while Sam Burns posed with his wife Caroline Campbell, following Brian Harman and Kelly Van Slyke.
