Best Bets for Moe races Tuesday

Moe races Tuesday with a big nine-race card and a heavy (8) track to contend with and Jett Hatton gives his assessment of the best way to play the day.

BEST BET

SHOW SOME DECORUM

R7 No. 7

Had plenty of excuses last time out when posted four deep without cover but expected an improved effort on Tuesday from the inside draw. He’ll be at peak fitness third-up and the wet track won’t harm his chances.

NEXT BEST

JENNI EXPRESS

R5 No. 2

Disappointing when resuming at Bendigo but did win impressively second up at her only crack. Lightly raced filly dropping back to a moderate Bm58 she shapes as the one to beat.

VALUE BET

FINCH ‘N’ CHIPS

R3 No. 11

Endured a tough run last time out but stuck on well to finish third and while she’s drawn wide again here, there’s a good early tempo to allow Alexandra Bryan to slot in with cover. Peaks fitness third-up, she’ll give a sight at odds.

THE JOCKEY – Josh Richards

The 3kg claiming apprentice comes to Moe with a good book of rides and can walk away with a winner or two.

WILD CHERRY ROAD (R5 No. 8 -$8.50), IZZYGOOD (R6 No. 9 -$16), DIESEL ‘N’ DUST – $12), BROOKLYN HEAT (R8 No. 7 – $9.50), SUPREME BELIEF (R9 No. 5 – $6)
