Herald Sun form analyst Gilbert Gardiner runs the rule over Friday’s card at Geelong.
GARIMPEIRO (R6 No.2 – $2.40)
Short enough but recent form looks good for this assignment. Only narrowly beaten the last start two times at the races and in-form apprentice Josh Richards in the saddle.
PRASIOLITE (R2 No.16 – $5.50)
Lightly-raced Sydney filly from the Waller yard heads to Geelong a strong winning chance. Third behind In the Congo last start and that horse subsequently beaten a pimple last Saturday.
DIDIER (R3 No.3 – $5.50)
Bursting to win after placing at past three starts. Drawn nicely and senior jockey aboard.

LATE NIGHT FINISH (R4 No.5 – $8)
Hard fit after being around the mark in three starts to date. The $2 favourite Vilanculos the obvious threat but could be vulnerable first up in 10 months.
DEAL FLOW (R5 No.9 – $10)
Nicely bred filly looking to break through at career start No.5. Will need gun jockey Luke Currie to be at his best to navigate barrier 12 but can win.
Wagga apprentice making the most of his stint in Victoria.
DEBULLET (R1 No.12 – $3.10), BAINBRIDGE (R5 No.1 – $6), GARIMPEIRO (R6 No.2 – $2.40) and OUR WIND SPIRIT (R9 No.1 – $5).
