Again?! Braves pitcher Mark Melancon catches teammate Ozzie Albies’ HR in bullpen for second straight night

After reeling in teammate Ozzie Albies' ninth-inning home run while warming up in the bullpen on Monday, Atlanta Braves closer Mark Melancon somehow managed to do the exact same thing Tuesday.

Seriously.

For the second night in a row, Melancon, stationed in the bullpen, caught an Albies home run in the ninth inning, this one a solo shot that gave Atlanta a crucial insurance run in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Unlike his casual grab in Game 1, the Braves pitcher had to get on his horse to make a running catch beyond the center field wall.

"He’s had two really good catches the last two nights," Braves manager Brian Snitker said after Game 2. "I guess he’s playing the card; he’s well-positioned. He knows where to play Ozzie."

Atlanta hung on to win 8-7 – leading 7-0 at one point – in Game 2 to take a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Dodgers. Melancon picked up the save, getting the final out in the ninth after an error and RBI triple.
