MLB awards 2019: Full list of nominees, winners for MVP, Rookie of the Year, Cy Young and more

While some 2019 MLB awards are obvious, such as Yordan Alvarez for AL MVP, others could cause controversy.

Take the MVP races, for example, where Alex Bregman and Mike Trout have legitimate arguments in their favor for the AL honor, while Cody Bellinger, Anthony Rendon and Christian Yelich each would be deserving winners in the NL.

Because of the tight races, this week will be a fun one for baseball fans not quite ready to let go of the 2019 season.
