Luka Doncic was in rip-roaring form as the Dallas Mavericks put the Detroit Pistons to the sword – and NBA fans couldn’t get enough of the youngster.
The NBA travelled south of the border to Mexico City on Thursday night.
And Mavericks forward Doncic wasn’t in the mood to mess about, scoring the first triple-double ever in Mexico.
The Slovenian, still just 20, racked up an amazing 41 points against the Pistons, as well as registering a team-high 11 assists.

And taking to the comments of a video showing the highlights of Doncic’s performance, NBA fans were in awe at the ‘future GOAT’.
“When Luka is on fire, the team win. When Harden is on fire, the team lose,” one noted.
A second reflected: “At this point, everything Luka does is historic.”
“What a show he put on for the Mexican fans,” a third put.

While an excited fourth added: “Luka is Taking over the NBA!!!”
“This has become like a base line for Luka. I don't even know we've truly seen him "go off" yet. I have a feeling that he's gonna have a 60+ performance this year,” an ambitious fifth wrote.
As a staggered sixth added: “He's a 20 year old. A. 20. YEAR. OLD.”

Doncic, who earned loud chants of ‘MVP’ during the contest in Mexico, said he loved playing in front of the new crowd.
“The fans treated me so well,” he said. “They had fun, and we played a good game for them.”
