The Dallas Cowboys lost a third straight game at the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.
A late fourth quarter rally wasn't enough to stave off defeat as they went down 31-24.
But their performance has been slammed by former quarterback Troy Aikman who labelled their display at Soldier Field 'embarrasing'.
"I don't know how you come back from this. I really don't," Aikman, the Pro Football Hall of Famer, said on the Fox postgame show. "They got embarrassed in that game."
Jason Garrett has now presided over four losses in the Cowboys' last five games, but they still sit top of the NFC East despite their 6-7 record.

Their next assignment is the 7-5 LA Rams in Texas, but Aikman believes the possibility of post season involvement should shine no light on a team who are struggling to buy a win.
"I don't know how you sell that if you're Jason Garrett or Jerry Jones or anyone," Aikman added.
"When you have a performance like that to say, 'Hey. But we’re still alive. We’ll go play this week against the Rams and it’s all right out in front of us.'

"I don’t think the players hear that. I wouldn’t hear it if I were them. And this is on the players as much as it is on the coaches. They've got to be better.
"I’m not sure I’d even talk to the team this week. I'd just say, 'Let’s go play next week and you guys figure it out.'"
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has faced calls to sack head coach Garrett as the franchise's season continues to fall apart.
But despite mounting pressure Jones insists he will not fire the man who has led the Cowboys for 10 years before their next game.
“Everybody that’s healthy that’s coaching will be coaching,” he told reporters at Soldier Field.
