Dallas Cowboys’ star cornerback Trevon Diggs isn’t just being kept away from the field by his ACL tear but also the stage.
Diggs, who was named a Pro Bowler the last two seasons, tore his ACL during a non-contact one-on-one drill in practice Thursday.
The Cowboys confirmed that Diggs will be out for the remainder of the season and not only will he miss Dallas’s 2023 games but he also missed out on seeing Beyonce Thursday night.
He had bought a suite at AT&T Stadium to watch Beyonce’s Renaissance tour celebrate his 25th birthday, which was Wednesday, according to the Star-Telegram’s Clarence Hill Jr.
Diggs was seemingly so excited to attend the showstopper concert that he had bought an all-silver outfit. Beyonce had asked fans to wear silver and chrome in honor of her September 4 birthday and Virgo season and the Beehive, including Diggs, have met her demands.

However, after sustaining the injury earlier in the day, he was no longer unable to attend.
Following his ACL tear, Dallas linebacker Micah Parsons paid tribute to his injured teammate on Twitter, writing, ‘I am my brothers keeper! I got you 7! No more need to be said!’
Diggs led the league with 11 interceptions in 2021 and was named a first-team All-Pro.
His injury is the latest season-ender to a star player after Aaron Rodgers and Nick Chubb suffered serious injuries previously.
J.K. Dobbins and Shaq Thompson will also miss the rest of the season.
Dallas’ first test without Diggs is against the Cardinals on Sunday.
