If Josh Gordon hadn’t found his place in the Patriots locker room before Sunday night’s win over the Packers, he sure has it now.
Not only did Gordon have his best game since joining New England in September with five catches for 130 yards and a touchdown, he did it all with a pesky dislocated finger.

After the Patriots’ 31-17 win, Gordon told reporters he had to pop the finger back in place “a couple times.”
“I guess just like a freak accident — nothing too crazy,” he said. “But, after one of the slant routes, I think some pressure fell on it and it dislocated, so I popped it back into place a couple times throughout the rest of the game, but it’s fine though.”
Gordon’s touchdown with 7:20 left in the fourth quarter extended New England’s led to 14 points after the extra point and, in some sense, broke Green Bay’s back.

Three takeaways from the Patriots’ win over the Packers
“I think throughout the entire course of the game, but as it built through the second half, we knew we had to score. We had enough three-and-outs going on already. It was bound to break at some point,” Gordon said after explaining what happened on his 55-yard touchdown. “They dropped back into a zone, somebody just forgot to cover me, was able to idle and Tom (Brady) saw it, we all saw it and then just had to make a break on the ball and then try to finish the play after that.”
The Patriots, who are 7-2 after winning their last six games, are on the road next week against the Titans.
