The Jets will face a challenge against the Bears as two of their top receivers are dealing with injuries.
New York listed Robby Anderson as doubtful for Week 8’s matchup against Chicago, but the Jets already ruled out leading receiver Quincy Enunwa, who will be sidelined for the second straight week with a high-ankle sprain. The details of Anderson’s injury have not been revealed, though he missed practice all week.

If Anderson is ruled out, the Jets will have to rely on Jermaine Kearse, who was held without a catch last week. New York’s other wideout options are Rishard Matthews (who signed Tuesday), Andre Roberts, Charone Peake and rookie Deontay Burnett. Coach Todd Bowles said Friday the team is prepared to play without Anderson.
“It’s a big test, but these guys have been champing at the bit to play,” Bowles told reporters. “They’ve been practicing hard and they’re getting their chance.”
