English club rugby’s financial crisis shows no sign of ending with last season’s Championship winners Jersey Reds set to enter administration.
Mail Sport understands Jersey’s players were told of their club’s bleak financial predicament and administration plans early on Thursday morning.
The news follows a devastating 2022/23 campaign in which Gallagher Premiership clubs Worcester Warriors, Wasps and London Irish all fell out of existence after experiencing monetary hardship.
