While Alejandro Garnacho has surely wrapped up the Premier League goal of the season, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold might have sealed second place on the list with his stunning free-kick strike against Fulham.

The Liverpool defender opened the scoring at Anfield on Sunday afternoon for Jurgen Klopp's Reds with a stunning strike from distance which saw him hit the underside the crossbar, with Bernd Leno given zero chance of saving the sensational hit.

It was the second week in a row that the Liverpool right-back has scored an impressive goal for the Reds, with Alexander-Arnold's second half strike last weekend against Manchester City earning his side a vital point at the Etihad in a 1-1 draw.

Former Liverpool midfielder Harry Wilson equalised for Fulham just four minutes after Alexander-Arnold's strike before Alexis Mac Allister unfurled an outrageous effort from distance to score Liverpool's second.

However, right on the stroke of half-time, Liverpool were once again pegged back by Fulham, who equalised through full-back Kenny Tete to leave the score at 2-2 at the break.
