Arsenal hero Jack Wilshere had fans buzzing as he handed an Under-18s debut to 13-year-old Max Dowman.
Dowman was introduced from the bench by Wilshere, who is now the Gunners' youth team boss, during their league clash with Southampton on Saturday (September 23). He played the final 22 minutes of the 4-0 victory at London Colney.
The highly-rated English midfielder earned the call up after impressing for the U15s at the Vinci Cup earlier this year, and already has a boot deal with Adidas which he signed last season having been chased by several high-profile companies.
