Arsenal would reportedly let Hector Bellerin leave the club for £20million. Bellerin has been linked with a move away from the Emirates for several months. However, the Spaniard’s departure could all depend on Manchester United’s transfer plans.

Bellerin made just two Premier League starts between February 21 and the end of the season after falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta.

Calum Chambers and Cedric Soares were both preferred at times by the Arsenal boss.

Bellerin has just two years remaining on his contract and the Gunners appear keen to cash in on the 26-year-old.

Spanish clubs Atletico Madrid and Real Betis are reportedly interested in signing the right-back.

CBS Sports claims £20m is the figure Arsenal will want for a player who has spent 10 years in north London.

CBS claims Betis would only be able to afford a loan deal for Bellerin this summer.

However, Atletico could target the Spaniard on a permanent deal if they sell Kieran Trippier – which is where United come in.

United are keen on signing Trippier to provide competition, as well as a different option, to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Atletico boss Diego Simeone is reluctant to let Trippier leave the Wanda Metropolitano.

However, the former Tottenham star is thought to want to move back to the Premier League after two years in Spain.

CBS says Trippier’s departure would make Bellerin a ‘serious’ option for Atleti.

Trippier helped Atletico win La Liga last season and spoke of his delight at that success shortly after joining up with the England squad for this summer’s Euro 2020 tournament.

“It is an unbelievable feeling and I am still pinching myself,” he said.

“That is one of the reasons why I went there, to try and win titles and most importantly to get my performances back on track from when I was at Tottenham.

“I feel like I made a big step when I first went there and have improved defensively and in attack. I am loving it. I am enjoying it and delighted to be back with England.

“For me personally, it has been a great experience, a different culture, working with Simeone.

“I am absolutely delighted to have won the league title. There is no better coach to improve than Simeone.”
