Aston Villa fans are hoping Jack Grealish has dropped a massive hint that he's staying at the club.
The England star is on Manchester City's radar with the Premier League champions ready to try and snatch him in a £90m deal.
The 25-year-old is a lifelong Villa fan and signed a new contract in September.
But that hasn't deterred Pep Guardiola's hope of luring him to The Etihad.
However, pin-up boy Grealish's decision to front up Villa's new kit launch with a special message to the fans has renewed hope that he won't leave this summer – record transfer fee or not.
The club skipper appears on the promotional video saying: “Everyone knows what claret and blue means to me.
"I've been a Villa fan all my life and I love playing for this club.”
And while mega-money can trump club loyalty, some Villa fans are putting extra credence into their beloved captain's message.
How long should Jack Grealish stay at Aston Villa for, and who should be his next club? Let us know in the comments section.
Grealish would certainly be eager not to disappoint the Villa faithful come what may.
He'll be mindful of the fuss caused by Fabian Delph – another former skipper and England international – when he left the club to join City six years ago.
And while the circumstances are way different. Villa fan Grealish would have been only too well aware of the furore when Delph rejected City claiming he was an example that loyalty exists before joining them in an £8m switch a week later.
