Borussia Dortmund are ready to sell Jadon Sancho this summer and it appears they’re unlikely to lower their asking price as previously speculated. There has been some suggestion that the Bundesliga outfit would be willing to accept as low as £50million for the winger due to the financial complications they have experienced during the COVID-19 crisis.
At the time of those reports, Sancho was also struggling for form after admitting that talk over his future had impacted his performances on the field.
Now he has put last summer behind him and has recorded 12 goals and 16 assists in 31 outings this season in all competitions.
Sancho was the subject of a £90million offer from Manchester United towards the end of the last transfer window but Dortmund were holding out for £108m.
Shortly after, the England international’s value began to plummet but Dortmund are now confident they can still net a blockbuster fee for the forward at the end of the season.

According to Bild, Dortmund are hoping that United will pay around £102m (€120m) for the attacker, although it remains unclear whether the Red Devils will move for Sancho again.
The report adds that Dortmund are already beginning to size up a number of potential replacements.
The list includes PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen, who spent two years as part of Arsenal’s youth academy between 2015 and 2017.
Arsenal failed to include a buy-back option or sell-on clause, a decision they’re likely to regret given his prolific goalscoring record in Holland.

At the beginning of the year, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke confessed that Sancho was expecting to move to United last summer but the deal never materialised.
“Subconsciously, Jadon had probably already prepared a little for a change. I think he had at least thought so much about it that he lost his ease,” Watzke told Kicker.
United are expected to target a right-winger when the transfer window reopens, despite being stacked with options in that area.
Daniel James has recently forced his way back into favour while Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Amad are also battling it out in the wide areas.
Alaves loanee Facundo Pellistri is also targeting first-team opportunities under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer next season.
Leeds forward Raphinha is also believed to be under consideration following his blistering start to life in the Premier League.
The Brazilian assisted both of the Whites’ goals in the 6-2 defeat at Old Trafford in December.
United are also set to prioritise the signings of a new striker and left-sided centre-back and funds could depend on sales and their final league position.
