Is Thiago still in doubt?

Despite being named to start, there are various reports from the Stade de France that Thiago is looking proppy in the warm-up and having conversations with Jurgen Klopp and some teammates – the sort of conversations that might suggest he could be a late withdrawal.

We’ll soon find out, I guess, but this isn’t the sort of ideal lead-in you want minutes before a Champions League final…

No major shocks here – the big news for Liverpool is that Thiago is fit, having been under an injury cloud after an Achilles problem in their final Premier League fixture. Jurgen Klopp has also gone for Ibrahima Konate over Joel Matip to partner Virgil van Dijk in the centre of defence.
