Chelsea have confirmed their full list of squad numbers ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
Frank Lampard has already added five new players to his Blues squad this summer, with Kai Havertz the most recent after sealing a £71million move from Bayer Leverkusen last Friday.
Timo Werner completed a £54million move from RB Leipzig, while Hakim Ziyech joined in a £36million switch from Ajax.
The west London club also forked out £50million to prise Ben Chilwell away from Leicester, but Thiago Silva arrived at Stamford Bridge free of charge last month having departed Paris St-Germain upon the expiry of his contract.
And today Chelsea have announced which shirt numbers these five new recruits and the rest of their squad will be wearing over the course of the season.
Silva will be donning the No.6 shirt this term, while Werner will be taking the No.11 jersey recently made vacant by Pedro.
Chilwell has been handed the No.21 shirt, with Hakim Ziyech given No.22 – the same number he wore for Ajax.
Christian Pulisic was Chelsea’s No.22 last season, but after an impressive debut campaign under Lampard the American will now take the No.10 shirt vacated by Willian – who left to join Arsenal this summer.
Havertz will wear his favoured No.29 jersey for the Blues, which he enjoyed great success in at Leverkusen.
The 21-year-old’s preferred shirt number was initially unavailable, but previous owner Fikayo Tomori has swapped to No.14 in order to satisfy the club’s marquee signing.
Every other Chelsea star will keep the same number for the 2020/21 campaign, which kicks off this weekend.
The Blues have to wait until Monday for their opening fixture, nonetheless, with a trip to Brighton in store for Lampard and co.
