Euro 2024 ticket details, how to buy them and host cities for Germany tournament

England aren’t favourites to win Euro 2024 | Football Digest

England supporters are able to relax and count down the days to Euro 2024 after the draw was made on Saturday, with Gareth Southgate’s men assured of their place at the tournament in July next year. After coming so close at Wembley back in 2021, the Three Lions will be bidding to end 57 years of hurt on German turf next summer – and the clamour for tickets is set to continue with a new release set to allow fans to purchase tickets.

Germany will host the Euros for the first time, having been chosen to stage the 17th edition of the tournament at a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Nyon back in September 2018. It is the first time Germany has staged the Euros since its reunification, with West Germany hosting the 1988 edition.

The draw deciding the groups for the 24-team tournament was made in Hamburg on December 2, with the likes of England, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal discovering their fate. The tournament will begin on June 14, 2024, and the final is scheduled to take place at Germany’s national arena, the Olympiastadion in Berlin, on July 14.

Ahead of the tournament, Express Sport has all of the details about how you can attend by purchasing tickets…

Please note: UEFA ticket prices are listed in euros. Currency conversions were correct as of November 28, 2023 and are subject to change.

How to buy Euro 2024 tickets

The vast majority of tickets have already been snapped up by fans across Europe after the ticket process ran from October 3 to October 26. Over 1.2 million tickets were made available via an application period, with a total of 2.7m tickets being made available to the public.

However, those who missed out on the initial application process have a chance of snapping up some last-minute match tickets. UEFA announced that one million tickets will go on sale for fans of national associations involved in the final tournament.

Tickets will also be held back for sale to supporters of the national teams that qualify through the Euro 2024 play-offs, which are scheduled for March 21 and March 26 next year.

One million of the next batch of tickets will be priced at £52 (€60) or less, giving fans an affordable way of watching games in Germany.

The most expensive tickets outside of the final will set supporters back £156 (€200) in the group stage, rising to £520 (€600) in the semi-finals.

And for the final, 10,000 tickets will be available for less than £87 (€100). Category 1 tickets for the final, the most expensive in the tournament, will set back those with deeper pockets £870 (€1,000).
