Graeme Souness has revealed that he is happy that Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish has accepted his offer for a night out, as long as the midfielder pays the bill.
The former Liverpool and Fenerbahce manager invited the 27-year-old on a night out during an appearance on TalkSport after he had criticised the midfielder and urged him to be able to live with negative comments that he might get.
The pair seem destined for a night out together, but Souness will be insisting on the venue and the wines. Souness also has allowed Grealish to bring ‘whoever’ he wants after he suggested that he would bring Juventus and former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba along.

Souness wrote in his Sportsmail column: ‘Great to see that Jack Grealish is up for a night out, which I said is something that I think I would enjoy very much.
‘I think he’s replied to say “let’s do”, so long as he can bring along Paul Pogba as his +1.
‘Well, that’s very good to hear! You’re on Jack. If I get to pick the venue and the wines, you bring along whoever you want. And by the way, you’re picking up the bill!’
Souness was one of Pogba’s biggest critics during his time in the Premier League as he often scrutinised the midfielder’s performances as a pundit on Sky Sports.

France midfielder Paul Pogba will likely miss the World Cup in Qatar due to a knee injury
Pogba left the Red Devils in the summer after his contract expired at Old Trafford and he has since sealed a return to Turin, having signed a four-year deal with Juventus.
The French midfielder is yet to play for Juventus since returning to the club due to a knee injury which is expected to keep him out of action until the new year, meaning he will miss the Qatar World Cup in November.
Grealish is currently on international duty with England, before returning to domestic duties with Manchester City in which his first game back will be in the Manchester derby on October 2.
