Liverpool legend Graeme Souness turned his back to the camera after a heated Paul Pogba row with Micah Richards.

The Manchester United No.6 was the star of the show in their 5-1 win against Leeds on Saturday, making a record-breaking four assists.

While the Frenchman earned several plaudits, the former Reds midfielder was not among those to be impressed.

And Pogba’s name even managed to come up in a furious debate Souness had with fellow Sky Sports pundit Richards.

The pair were discussing Harry Kane, as the Englishman had missed Tottenham’s 1-0 win against Premier League champions Manchester City.

It comes three months after the 28-year-old put in a request to leave the North London side this summer, with Pep Guardiola’s side chasing a £120m deal for the forward.

And Richards compared the treatment of the Spurs captain to that of Pogba, whose agent Mino Raiola declared his United career “over” last December while he is yet to renew.

“His agent might have done the talking but he’s not done anything,” the former City man said.

“He’ just gone out there and tried to do the best that he can do and Kane the same. That’s what players want to do.”

But Souness interrupts his college, arguing that the agent would not act without the permission of the player.

The Scot then tries to move the conversation on before turning his back to the camera and walking away.

Gary Neville then follows the same argument as the Liverpool hero, saying that Pogba should have come out and spoken against Raiola for his comments.

Richards added: “No, but I'm only mentioning it because it's similar to the Kane situation,.

"Kane's not turned up for training and we [are] calling him a saint, Pogba's never said he wanted to leave Man United but he's getting abuse."

The conversation then ends with an awkward silence before host David Jones moves on to the next ident.
