Oliver Spedding, who played football for Crystal Palace's academy, has died at the age of just 34.
Spedding walked away from football after he failed to break into the professional game, and after a spell behind bars, he started a career in the adult entertainment industry. And it was there where he met his girlfriend: Sophie Anderson.
It was love at first sight, or, as Oliver put it: "My "c*** went straight for her."

The pair met at a group scene, but once the cameras had stopped rolling, Oliver couldn't stop thinking about Sophie. Speaking on Pleaser, Oliver revealed: "Sophie’s friend was cuddling up to me.
"And I was like, ‘I want to be upstairs with [Sophie]'," to which she responded: "And I was hoping he would come up." Sophie then couldn't hold back laughter when Oliver joked: "My c*** went straight like that!"

The pair were keen to convey they were just like any other couple – they liked to cuddle and watch Netflix, and Oliver added: "They say there’s that one person out there – your soulmate. We know what we’ve got."
When it came to activities beneath the sheets, they went by the nickname "F***ing Explorers" online. Sophie and Oliver's relationship seemed to be going well, shooting scenes together, until Oliver made several posts on social media, which were swiftly deleted. Oliver suggested that Sophie had passed away, and her funeral was the following Tuesday.
Fellow adult star Rebecca More tweeted: "I’ve just had a phone call from Suffolk police informing me that the metropolitan police can confirm they have spoken to Sophie and she is ok."
Oliver went back on his words, and instead claimed that Sophie was out of hospital. And since that incident, Oliver himself passed away last Friday (November 17), with their relationship status unclear.
His football team, Croydon FC, were the ones to confirm the news, as they paid tribute by saying: "Croydon FC are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former player, Oliver Spedding. Oliver played for the club over a couple of spells and was a much-loved individual who always gave his utmost for the team.
"Oliver will be hugely missed by everyone at the club and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Rest in Peace, Ollie. Once a Tram, always a Tram."
