Man Utd boss Ten Hag insists he's 'said everything' on Sancho saga
Manchester United haven’t yet decided whether they will move to replace Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window amid his ongoing spat with manager Erik ten Hag, according to reports. However, Sancho could be handed a lifeline at Old Trafford due to United’s reluctance to spend big this winter.
The 23-year-old winger’s United career is in disrepair as he continues his banishment from Ten Hag’s first-team squad.
He is expected to remain out of the frame until he apologises to Ten Hag for effectively calling the Dutchman a liar on social media at the start of September.
The United boss excluded Sancho from the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal, citing poor training levels for his surprise absence at the Emirates Stadium.
But Sancho later bit back with an explosive public statement, challenging Ten Hag’s authority, which didn’t go unpunished.
United football director John Murtough was forced to intervene when private discussions reached a dead end after the No 25 refused to apologise to his manager during the September international break.
He green-lit Ten Hag’s decision to make Sancho train alone to ensure a negative influence doesn’t creep back into his dressing room after working on improving the club’s culture since his arrival last summer.

Sancho has been absent from six successive United squads while he refuses to bow down to Ten Hag’s demands, and he won’t play a part in Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Galatasaray.
It has left many expecting the England international to push for an exit this winter, similar to Cristiano Ronaldo in Ten Hag’s first season at the helm.
However, Sancho’s future will likely depend on whether United can sufficiently replace him at the campaign’s midway stage. But there is reportedly little optimism of doing that at this stage.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils haven’t yet decided whether they will need to pursue a new winger in the January transfer window.

It’s currently unclear whether the Old Trafford giants have the facilities to push for a big-money signing in January after splurging around £190million in the summer.
Romano adds that Pedro Neto has emerged as an enticing opportunity for United, with heavyweight interest set to arrive in 2024 after Wolves blocked any talk of a departure before this year.
Arsenal are reportedly among the 23-year-old’s suitors, but his valuation is up in the air amid Wolves’ reluctance to put him on the market.
Ten Hag has regularly insisted Sancho’s future is in his own hands, and many United supporters hope the troubled attacker can settle his grievances and realise his potential in M16.
