Jadon Sancho feels back to his best after brushing off links to Manchester United.
The England international had a poor start to the 2020/21 season in relation to his own high standards, and many blamed the uncertainty regarding a possible return to England.
Having managed five assists but no goals across his first 11 Bundesliga appearances of the season, Sancho has scored in back-to-back wins over Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig and created goals in both games.
The 20-year-old has now addressed his poor start to the campaign, and insisted that he is now feeling back to his best as Borussia Dortmund try to close the gap on Bayern Munich.
"Obviously this season has been very difficult for me personally," Sancho told bundesliga.com.
"So I knew when I went away, I just focused on my game and came back raring to go.
“I’m working hard every day in training and on the pitch so I'm just happy to get my goals and assists."
"It's just small adjustments," Terzic told ESPN after the win.
“Sometimes you have to accelerate on your first touch, don't get the opponent into situations where he can create two-vs-ones.
“We spoke a lot but Jadon was always doing his best in the last weeks and months, but sometimes it's like that.
"Players are not always performing on this level. He knew that.
“He stayed hungry and we tried to support him as a team. We tried to support him individually. It worked out well in the last three games.
“He scored three goals, and now three assists also. He's in a good way to get into his best form."
