Laura Woods and Ally McCoist have vented their anger at UEFA after West Ham were allocated less than 5000 tickets for the Europa Conference League final. The Hammers are set to participate in their first European final in 58 years but barely any supporters will be able to attend the match in Prague.
David Moyes’ side take on Serie A outfit Fiorentina on June 7. West Ham have made it all the way through the competition after entering the play-off stage last August.
Fans have travelled to the likes of Romania and Cyprus to follow the east London side through their journey. However, the vast majority will be left disappointed in their hopes of securing a ticket for the final.
The match will be played at Eden Arena, the home of Slavia Prague. It has a capacity of just 19,370 and UEFA have allocated both teams just 4890 tickets each.

Moyes concerned for family after trouble mars West Ham victory
TalkSPORT presenter Woods made her feelings clear on Tuesday morning. She claimed the decision from UEFA to play the match in Prague has done the organisation no favours in its quest to convince people the Conference League is a meaningful competition.
Woods said: “Don’t try and convince the world that your competition isn’t tinpot when you do that. Otherwise no one’s going to want to be in it.
“Where are we playing the final? The Dog and Duck.”
Rangers legend McCoist shared Woods’ anger. He cannot believe a European final is being played at a venue with such a small capacity.

He said: “It’s shocking, it really is. Clubs like West Ham, whose supporters have been starved of success, deserve – I know not everybody can get tickets, I get that – but we’re talking about a European final.
“Ok it’s not the Europa League, it’s not the Champions League, but it’s the Europa Conference League final and for both clubs to get less than 5000 tickets… The whole object of this tournament was to give clubs like West Ham a chance.
“So don’t play at a small stadium or a stadium where they can only get 4000 – play in a massive stadium and give them an opportunity to go and enjoy it. That’s the object of the whole exercise.
“The final’s in Prague isn’t it, I don’t know the capacity of the stadium in Prague. But it certainly looks as though it’s not big enough.”
