Laura Woods has left football fans in stitches after she produced a hilarious response to a lewd comment she received on social media.
Woods, who moved to join TNT Sports prior to the start of the 2023/24 season, has recently been fronting their Champions League coverage. On Tuesday night, she was 'pied' by Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag following their 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen at Old Trafford.
At the end of ten Hag's post match interview with TNT Sports, Woods went to offer her hand for a handshake with the United boss. But he completely missed her offer, shaking the hands of Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes, before eventually coming back to Woods to shake her hand, in a moment she described live on air as "double embarrassment" .

However, come Wednesday afternoon, the sports broadcaster was back on top form after she produced a superb takedown of an online troll on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
Posting the video of herself being pied by ten Hag, which saw the Man United manager steal her microphone from her while he was speaking to TNT, Woods added three pie emojis. The troll in question then decided to reply to the video with a lewd comment, writing: "I'll give you something to do with your hands."

Of course, that then gave Woods the perfect opportunity to mock the troll online, responding with a simple, yet incredibly effective jibe. Woods wrote: "And will you provide the microscope too?"
Her incredible response has been seen by over three million people, with football fans on social media left crying with laughter thanks to Woods' quick thinking reply. One fan commented: "Your name should be Aura because you don't take any Ls."
