Mohamed Salah is at a crossroads following reports representatives from Al Ittihad have flown into London for talks after submitting a world-record £215million bid for the player.
The Saudi Pro League transfer window shuts on Thursday, and Liverpool face an extremely tempting offer to part ways with arguably their most prized asset. The Sun has reported Al Ittihad's latest bid comprises a guaranteed £170m, with a further £45m or so in potential bonuses.
What's more, Salah stands to earn a ridiculous £2.45m per week tax-free if he makes the move to Saudi Arabia. And the Egyptian has been offered additional incentives on top, such as a £55,000 bonus for each win, as well as a 'large percentage of shirt sales'.
It's also reported he stands to earn at least £18m through other endorsements with three major Saudi brands, worth £6m each. Al Ittihad are clearly determined to land their target this summer, though it's understood the club will return in January should they fail.

Salah's base salary alone would work out to just short of £130m per year, and that's without taking into account any earnings from sponsorships or game incentives. While Liverpool are understandably weary about losing their talisman after the European transfer deadline, it's understood the player's entourage are in favour of the move.
The eye-watering figures will surely tempt both club and player given Salah's age means his resale value is declining fast. The player continues to be a key figure at Anfield, however, having had a direct hand in at least one goal per Premier League outing so far this term.
Jurgen Klopp's star forward showed his frustration and ignored his manager after being taken off in the season-opening draw at Chelsea. However, he's since underlined his importance and helped inspire three straight wins over Bournemouth, Newcastle and Aston Villa.

Salah's workrate off Liverpool's right flank has provided a major boost for Darwin Nunez, who is in a hot streak of scoring form at present. Al Ittihad, meanwhile, have won four of their five games so far this season following a busy summer of transfer business.
The Tigers are reportedly paying Karim Benzema just short of £100m per year after convincing him to leave Real Madrid, while former Chelsea talisman N'Golo Kante is also on the books in Jeddah. Salah could also reunite with former Anfield team-mate Fabinho, who joined Al Ittihad for £40m earlier this summer.

The team is managed by former Tottenham and Wolves chief Nuno Espirito Santo, who watched his side lose 4-3 to Al Hilal on Friday. a hat-trick from former Fulham striker Aleksandr Mitrovic tipped the scales in favour of the league leaders, who are yet to lose this term and also have Neymar on their books.
Liverpool face a critical 48 hours as Al Ittihad attempt to force a deal for Salah over the line in person. The Reds will hold talks knowing they can no longer make any new signings of their own to help ease his absence, though the world-record sum on the table could be considered too good to turn down.
