Romelu Lukaku is absent from Manchester United’s squad for their clash with Bournemouth through injury.
The Belgian was dropped from the side for United’s victory over Everton last Sunday and he was not named in their squad for the lunchtime kick off on Saturday
Last season’s victory at Bournemouth was the only time Lukaku did not start a Premier League game when fit – but that was down to the FA Cup semi-final against Spurs taking place three days later.

Alexis Sanchez is starting through the middle for Jose Mourinho’s side against Bournemouth
However, his absence this weekend is owing to an injury he picked up in training on Friday afternoon – and, consequently, he did not travel with the squad.
Mourinho hinted that the 25-year-old, who has scored four goals in 10 Premier League games this season but none in his last nine games in all competitions, would have started had he been fit.
‘In training yesterday [Friday], after the press conference, he felt something that needs to be studied in the next couple of days,’ Mourinho told BT Sport.
‘So Lukaku has not come and we decided to start with Alexis [Sanchez].’
The Chilean started in the middle of the front three alongside Anthony Martial and Juan Mata, with Marcus Rashford dropping to the bench.
