Manchester City are the latest Premier League club to be hit with travel disruption for an away trip in the Champions League.
The defending European champions are due to fly into Germany later on Tuesday ahead of the Group G clash against RB Leipzig.
They had been expected to land late afternoon but weather warnings in Saxony have delayed the flight taking Pep Guardiola’s squad.
The warnings of severe winds in the region are in place until midnight but City’s plan is still to touch down on the eve of the fixture.
Guardiola’s media duties in Leipzig have been cancelled, with the manager fulfilling those obligations remotely from the club’s training ground this afternoon.

The team had their training session at the City Football Academy earlier in the day as normal.
Arsenal were also victims of weather problems on the way out to Lens, while Newcastle United were caught in a storm before the goalless draw at AC Milan a fortnight ago.
Manchester United, meanwhile, also arrived late to their opening game, a 4-3 defeat by Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Guardiola revealed last week that City’s journey back from a Carabao Cup clash at Newcastle was to be taken by coach rather than a plane, which he claimed ate into their recovery time before losing against Wolves three days later.
