Zlatan Ibrahimovic gives his opinion on Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag
Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho could be coming to the end of his Old Trafford career following his bust-up with boss Erik ten Hag. The 23-year-old has been exiled since refusing to apologise for his social media outburst after he was left out of the matchday squad against Arsenal at the start of September. And Express Sport takes a look at four players the Red Devils could sign in the January transfer window to replace the England international.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
United’s right wing has proved to be a problem area this season, with Antony also missing a string of games amid police inquiries. So the Red Devils could go all out to get their hands on a top player in January and put their attacking woes behind them for good.
The Red Devils were linked with Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the summer but could seize their opportunity to go after the ace in the New Year. The Georgia international, who joined Napoli from Dinamo Batumi in his homeland last summer bagged an incredible 14 goals and 17 assists in all competitions last season.
Kvaratskhelia, who is predominantly a left winger but can also play on the right, has bags of pace and an eye for goal and has already notched a goal and four assists in Serie A this time around. The 22-year-old appears to have all the credentials to succeed in England, but could cost the 13-time Premier League champions a pretty penny.

Pedro Neto
If United would prefer a player who is already tried and tested in the Premier League, they may turn to Wolves star Pedro Neto. The 23-year-old is finally living up to his potential at Molineux after joining the Black Country side from Lazio in 2019 and has contributed a goal and four assists during the early part of the campaign.
Neto has shown he can mix it with the best after setting up a goal against Liverpool last month and forcing Ruben Dias into an own goal against Manchester City at the weekend after firing the ball across goal at pace. So Ten Hag could well make the Portugal international part of his future plans.

Serge Gnabry
If United are prepared to shell out mega-money for a new winger, they could attempt to prise Serge Gnabry away from Bayern Munich. The 28-year-old has starred for the German side since joining them from Hoffenheim in 2018 and scored against Ten Hag’s side in the Champions League last month.
Gnabry had spells in the Premier League with Arsenal and West Brom in his younger days but has kicked on overseas. And after more than five years at the Allianz Arena, the Germany international may be ready for a new challenge back in England.
Jesse Lingard
The Red Devils have made some bizarre signings in recent years, with Wout Weghorst joining the club on loan from Burnley at the start of this year after Marko Arnautovic had turned down the chance to move to Old Trafford the previous summer.
So if United are really desperate to bring in a proven Premier League winger, they may even consider a move for their ex-star Jesse Lingard, who is currently without a club after leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer. While a move for the 30-year-old seems unlikely, his arrival at Old Trafford may not actually look out of place given the club’s transfer dealings in recent times.
