Manchester United fans have been left furious with Marcus Rashford after believing to catch him in a ‘what the f***’ rant against Newcastle United.
Erik ten Hag’s side’s week was compounded by another miserable performance against Newcastle United to follow up their Champions League collapse against Galatasaray, which left their qualification hopes hanging by a thread.
A first-half dominated by the Magpies somehow didn’t see a breakthrough goal before half-time, but the Geordies didn’t have to wait long in the second, as Anthony Gordon tapped home from close range to score the only goal of the game which Newcastle richly dominated.

United’s ineffectiveness on the ball was summed up by another poor and lacklustre Marcus Rashford performance, who cut a frustrated figure in his unfancied position on the right-hand side. After getting no change out of Tino Livramento all game – even being caught out by the 21-year-old defensively, he was hooked off for Antony on the hour mark.
Rashford left the pitch visibly annoyed and was caught by Sky Sports camera on the bench speaking to Sergio Reguilon. The footage shared around social media has left some fans believing it was an explicit rant from Rashford who seemed to say “what the f***” to the Spain international.

One fan on Twitter said: “Could be referring to being subbed. In which case he’s lucky he stayed on as long as he did.” A second wrote: “After that performance Marcus Rashford has got the gall to say ‘What the f***?’” While a third added: “He hates playing on the right, never looks happy or 100% committed. Ten Hag should never play him there it is a waste.”
Rashford’s wretched start to the season continued, with the 26-year-old only scoring twice in 18 games this season. He returned to the scoresheet against Everton last weekend in the 3-0 win as he scored from the spot, but his performance was a complete contrast to the confidence many thought he rediscovered against the Toffees.
