Seven players who may look to leave Manchester United in January
Manchester United have been described as one of the five clubs who could be “destined” to sign Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to the Italian press. Kvaratskhelia was one of the Italian giants’ most important players during their Serie A-winning campaign last season with an impressive 14 goals and 17 assists in 43 games across all competitions.

The Georgian international’s form has dipped slightly this season but he is still attracting interest from around the footballing globe. Man Utd, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are all queuing up to sign him and Sky Sports Italy insist Kvaratskhelia is “destined” to follow in the footsteps of former team-mate Kim Min-jae in signing for one of the ‘big five’ European clubs next summer.
Among Kvaratskhelia’s many admirers is Gary Lineker, who thinks he is an amazing forward. “Remember the name. He’s that good that eventually we’ll all know how to spell it,” he wrote on X earlier this year.
United are in desperate need of a top-quality winger, ideally in January. Marcus Rashford has been a far cry away from the sensational form he was in last season while Antony is still not making an impact at Old Trafford.
Alejandro Garnacho is the only player to have impressed on the wings for the Red Devils so far this season. The 19-year-old is having a breakthrough campaign in the Premier League and has been among United’s best players.
But the poor form from Man Utd’s other wingers coupled with their lack of depth due to Jadon Sancho’s exile from the first team means the Red Devils will have to fork out some funds in January.

It is unlikely they will be able to capture Kvaratskhelia halfway through the season given his importance to Napoli so they may have to temporarily look elsewhere.
Kvaratskhelia has three years remaining on his contract at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and is valued at around £85m. PSG are said to be the keenest on signing him with Corriere Dello Sport suggesting that the Ligue 1 side are willing to pay up to £160m for his services.
