Man Utd got their season back on track with Burnley victory | Football Digest
Jadon Sancho has been approached by the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) with a proposal to assist in his falling out with Erik ten Hag. The Manchester United winger has been banished from first-team training by his manager after making their dispute public on social media.
Ten Hag admitted that he left Sancho out of his matchday squad in the defeat to Arsenal earlier this month because the 23-year-old had not been meeting his standards in training.
Sancho responded by posting a statement on social media the very same night, telling fans not to believe everything they hear and claiming to be fed up at being made a ‘scapegoat’.
The former Borussia Dortmund winger is now barred from United first-team training, instead going through the motions on his own while using the academy facilities. Ten Hag has refused to confirm whether Sancho will play for him again.

In pursuit of a solution, The Times claim that the PFA have approached Sancho with an offer to help resolve his dispute with Ten Hag. The United boss is digging his heels in over receiving a face-to-face apology from the youngster, who has so far refused.
The PFA’s offer is yet to spur any meaningful action, with Sancho facing a murky future at Old Trafford. The England international is poised to watch on from afar when United host Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

Sancho was expected to tear up the Premier League after signing from BVB in a £73million deal. But since his arrival in 2021, the wide man has put together an underwhelming return of 12 goals in 82 appearances, which pales in comparison to his output in Germany.
Before being ousted from the first-team set-up, Sancho was limited to just three substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, failing to notch a goal or an assist in 77 minutes of action.
Ten Hag claims that one of his main aims as the Red Devils manager is to restore a sense of culture at Old Trafford. “Strict lines is the point,” said the former Ajax boss.
“It’s what the club asked me because there was no good culture before last season, so to set some good standards, that is what I did. That is my job, to control the standards.”
