Man Utd ‘table bid’ for Barcelona youngster, Kane to cost £200m and Niguez blow

Manchester United look set to confirm two new arrivals in the coming weeks after reportedly agreeing deals with both Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's transfer business is unlikely to end there.

The Red Devils finished 12 points behind fierce rivals Manchester City last season and require more fresh faces if they are to lay down a significant title challenge next term.

Now the European Championships have finished, clubs including United are expected to become more active in the transfer market as they complete their preparations for the upcoming season.

Daily Star Sport are on hand with news of three potential arrivals at Old Trafford this summer.

Moriba bid tabled

Barcelona's dire financial opportunity represents a real opportunity for English clubs – and United are ready to take advantage.

With the Catalan giants looking to offload players to comply with La Liga's Financial Fair Play rules, the Red Devils are being linked with a move for 18-year-old star Ilaix Moriba.

Spanish outlet Fichajes report United are interested in the youngster and have tabled a bid worth €20million for his services.

Man City still lead the race to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane, but a report from Tuttomercatoweb (via the Daily Express) suggests United are also interested in the wantaway star.

They claim the Red Devils are still in the mix for the 27-year-old star and will have to pay in the region of £200million for a deal to be agreed.

Tottenham remain steadfast in their refusal to even countenance selling Kane and rejected an approach from City during the January transfer window.

Niguez blow

Saul Niguez is a player attracting plenty of attention this summer.

The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past, but it's Liverpool who have stolen ahead in the race to sign the 26-year-old.

Mundo Deportivo claim the Reds' initial offer of £34m has been turned down by Atletico as they are holding out for closer to £43m.
